Liver Enzymes and colon cleansing

What are elevated liver enzymes and what is supposed to be normal? A laboratory report of elevated liver enzymes is common and doesn’t indicate a specific disease. However, elevated liver enzymes may be due to liver disease even if you have no symptoms.  The normal range of values for AST (SGOT) is from 5 to 40 units per liter of serum (the liquid part of the blood). The normal range of values for ALT (SGPT) is from 7 to 56 units per liter of serum.

Elevated liver enzymes can come from processed foods, medications, alcohol and high cholesterol levels.  When the liver becomes congested with these high enzyme levels it makes it very difficult for the liver to handle all of its processing functions.  When the liver slows down in processing toxins, medications, fats, alcohol, and cholesterol, this build up can cause damage to the liver.

Cleansing the colon followed by a liver cleanse, and a repeat colon cleanse will help to remove the high liver enzymes and allow the liver to function easily keeping your body it top running order.

The Puristat Colon and Liver cleanse program is very simple and easy to follow.
