Can lactose cause my bloating and gas?

Indeed lactose can cause the gas production and bloating.  The lactose is food for the bacteria in our guts.  This causes gas to be produced.  These same bacteria can produce toxins as they are growing and multiplying.  This can further harm the lining of the gut leading to diarrhea.
